Hola amigos! Let’s gather with our beautiful and diverse community to make something special. For as long as there has been humans, stories have been shared and textiles have woven themselves into our history. Cuentitos y Colores invites families to celebrate just that as we explore natural color and textile art through bilingual story-telling. We will explore one color at a time and the magical origins and folk tales connected to it.

Color exploration for this circle: Blushes and pinks

What to bring:

• one ripe avocado

• a jar or container with lid to save your dye

• a blanket to sit, packed lunch and waters

Bring some beloved books and gently used clothing to swap at the end

Multi generation: Grandparent/Parent and child - all ages
